Looking for 2 Sales Reps to sell protective film or coated film to Original Equipment Manufacturers used in scratch resistant applications. Will be selling into the Computer, Automotive, and Appliance type of industries. Need someone who sells directly to end users VS through distributors. The focus of the position will be to generate new sales. Will work directly with the Division President to establish pricing and markets to attack. This is a $70 Mil division of a fortune 100 company. Lots of opportunity to grow from here.
Pays base and commission/bonus.
SM42202 Senior Buyer / Planner, OH $55-65K
Job Requirements: BS in Business or Technical (preferably mechanical) with 5-10 years relevant experience. Must be adept at using ERP systems, Excel, and e-mail/calendar/web browsing software. Working knowledge of computer based vendor quality management systems.
Job Description: This job is demanding, and the candidate must be well organized and willing to expend extra effort. This will not be an 8 hour per day position.
Working knowledge of contract Terms and Conditions is essential.
Negotiating skills necessary.
Ability to understand supplier lead time and costing components and to drive improvements in same.
Ability to work cooperatively with Vendors, Accounting, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
Familiarity with sourcing custom-made fabricated metal parts, plastic components, corrugated packaging, pallets, and a broad spectrum of goods and services needed to support a manufacturing organization. Prior experience with Automotive and Heavy Truck industries useful.
Past experience in TS/QS certified organization preferred.
Demonstrated ability to control inventory level of purchased components.
Past successes at identifying new sources, conducting competitive bidding, achieving cost reductions, and driving vendor quality and delivery improvements.

Job Requirements:
B.S. in Chemistry or higher in an engineering discipline with at least 3 years work experience in a related technical field. The candidate needs to have experience with different ink systems and printing methods. PVC knowledge and knowledge of the calendaring process.
Excellent communication and team skills and effective interaction with customers, suppliers, and fellow employees at all levels. Must be able to travel 30-35%, including international. Strong computer skills required. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and be customer oriented.
Summary:
Plans, and controls the product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to provide and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. Provides technical support for all areas from daily operations through end user applications. Optimizes the process to increase efficiency and assures that capital investments will support growth requirements. Coordinates training need requirements with respect to quality issues to gain a competitive advantage in the market place.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Provides technical product development and release to production so that a definable robust process is established prior to product launch.
Develops and implements quality plans and measurements to address overall customer and manufacturing issues. Optimizes all processes to assure a supply of highest quality film, increased efficiency and a return on capital investments.
Assists with formulation development.
Provides technical expertise and training for product and process development.
Develops and provides product information in response to customer needs and market opportunities
